Pick up to two projects, partners, structure, trips, best of unique practices and brief describe them. 

• Partnership with Columbus City Schools- Bonner Leaders at Capital University have a long standing partnership with Mifflin Middle School in Columbus, OH. We implement the "Distinction Mentoring Program". Catered to 7th and 8th grade students, Bonner Leaders lead activities and discussions centered around SMART Goals, emotional intelligence, love languages, learning styles, life after middle school, kindness, etc. 
•  Barriers to Success- The racial justice initiative spearheaded by the Second-Year cohort of Bonner Leaders. Life After High School is a readiness program that encourages students to get the Ohio Readiness Validation Seal and complete the Ohio MeansJobs requirements. The Education Series is a series of events including a workshop, panel and discussion surrounding issues that impact people of color.

The Bonner Leader Program has been expanding its involvement in campus engagement and welcoming their peers to also be engaged in community and civic engagement efforts. The program is encouraging commitment and investment to working with communities and its members. Program participants are also strongly encouraging deep reflection to create connections between curricular and cocurricular experiences.
