Where is the Bonner Program located: The Carolina Bonner Leaders program of the Campus Y is located within the Division of Student Affairs. The Campus Y seeks to unite students, staff, faculty and community partners in the pursuit of social justice.

Highlighted Bonner Specific Programs:

  • Following a Community Partner Information Fair and Orientation on campus, Bonners are matched with a non-profit or public agency where they will work for the next four years. 
  • In addition to a First-Year Experience and Sophomore Exchange, Bonners have an annual All-Bonner Retreat, Junior Retreat, and End of Year Celebration featuring Senior Presentations of Learning. 

 

CAMPUS-WIDE ENGAGEMENT AT A GLANCE


Our Bonner Program works closely with the Public Policy Department's Clinic and Capstone projects, where students have the opportunity to identify and solve a public policy problem, or produce actionable, client-centered, public policy research or analysis for a non-profit organization. In our partnership, these public policy students work with our Bonner community partners.
