 In 1867, two years after the Civil War ended, Augusta Theological Institute was established in the basement of Springfield Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia,  the oldest independent African American church in the United States. The school’s primary purpose was to prepare black men for ministry and teaching. The mission of Morehouse College is to develop men with disciplined minds who will lead lives leadership and service. Remaining true to its mission, Morehouse has enjoyed 150+ years of producing alumni such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Spike Lee, Maynard Jackson, Edwin Moses, Raphael Warnock, Jeh Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, David Satcher, Julian Bond, Cedric Richmond, Bakari Sellars, Steven Reed, El-Madhi Holly and many more who live consequential lives. is located on a 66-acre campus in Atlanta and enjoys an international reputation for producing leaders who have influenced national and world history.

•  It's On The 'HOUSE:  Provides over 300 homeless individuals with food, toiletries, hair cuts, health screenings and more. Campus and community are informed on the depths of food insecurity and shelterless issue in the city of Atlanta.
• Apple's HBCU C2 Everyone Can Code and Everyone Can Create:  Provides coding and creative software training to communities in an effort to increase greater representation in the field as well as as opportunity to use such information and skills to creatively build capacity for our community partners.
