AmeriCorps Case Management

Step 1: Go to Case Management Report

You can find the Case Management Report pages under the School Menu > Reports > Management (#1 and #2).

Step 2: Select the Case Management Report you want to use.

There are two case management reports. The "Case Overview Report" sorts the cases by type, while the "Case Overview Report by Student" groups the cases related to each indvidual student.

....Case Overview Report

The Case Overview Report lists the open cases sorted by type of case. Clicking on the case title will take you to the Case Detail page.

...Case Overview by Student

The Case Overview by Student shows a list of open cases sorted alphabetically by student name.

Click on the case title to navigate to the detail for each open case (see example #1 below)

Step 3: View the Case Details Page

The Case Details page contains a box with the details on the case (#1) and the Comments history for the case (#2).

Click on the "View Data Record" link (#3) to go the underlying BWBRS page where (in most cases) the correction needs to be made. In some instances (e.g., not enough hours to exit), this link will take you to a general page related to the student or position.

Step 4: View the underlying page that needs to be addressed

EXAMPLE #1: EXIT PROCESS CASE: NOT ENOUGH HOURS TO EXIT
The example below shows the open case at the bottom of the member's AmeriCorps Enrollment Page which shows the total hours logged and approved to date.

Step 5: Notify Foundation That You Have Addressed the Open Case

Once you have addressed the case in question, please use the "Add Comment" box to notify Foundation staff to review and close the case.

  • Please write text in the text box (#1) (remembering to provide the name of the member to ensure the Foundation knows to which student the cases refers).
  • Then click on the Submit button (#2) to send the Foundation an email message.
