Case Statements
A case statement is typically a one-to-two page document that presents a "case" to funders about why the funding is needed and what the benefit is to the donor. In a sense, a case statement is a "call to action for donors." A case statement can be for specific programs within your center (such as Alternative Breaks, Summer Internships, etc.) or an appeal for your Bonner Program or Center more broadly.

"The SEFCU Project Incubator (SPIn) is a proposal for SEFCU to partner with ACE to create an endowed funding stream to support our intensive summer program. SEFCU’s funding of four students to participate along with funds from ACE would provide students with the opportunity to put into practice lessons learned in the classroom to address multifaceted challenges facing Capital Region communities."
