Bonner Program Handbook Template

The Bonner Program Handbook is a great way to introduce students to the core expectations of the Bonner Program. You could use this editable handbook template (below) to create your own version of the Bonner Program Handbook. The template covers topics such as: History of the Bonner Program, Bonner Program Common Commitments, Bonner Program Model, Bonner Program Expectations etc. The editable template also includes sections for schools to add Program Contact Information and Community Information.

Click on the link below to access the template. Then, "Make a Copy" of the template to edit it further.

Presentations

Bonner Cornerstone Activies

These slides provide an overview for planning a Bonner Orientation for Bonner Scholars or Bonner Leaders and other cornerstone activities. They cover in a basic way the building blocks and what to include to welcome a new cohort of Bonners into the program. Your institution should interweave distinctive features, including the assets of campus and community.

Handouts

These handouts are printable planning guides to what is presented on the above slides. Either are useful for training student leaders to plan and implement Bonner Orientation and contain several campus examples for elements of orientation.

Webinar

The Bonner Foundation hosted a Pop-Up Webinar in July 2017 to help train student leaders in planning their Bonner orientation. The video and audio files below showcase the Webinar for future reference of student leaders and campus Bonner staff.

Worksheet

This worksheet was designed to accompany the slides and handout. An ideal way to use these is with a group planning meeting, going over the slides and then brainstorming and discussing ideas for what your program wants to do.
